Multi-Level Bridge over Metrolinx Rail Line Now Accessible

-

The East Don Trail expansion project is continuing to move forward and it’s very cool to see that they’ve now completed and opened the pedestrian / cycling bridge over the Metrolinx Rail Line.

This multi-level ramp that leads to the overpass then down a paved asphalt trail is a super fun way to explore this new crossing. Construction is in full force around this section of the trail, so always keep an ear and eye out for moving machinery and workers in the area.

Once over the rail line, you are very close to the Bermondsey-Eglinton intersection. The section of trail that will connect to Bermondsey Road is expected to be completed by September of this year.

Check out our video below to explore the overpass and plan your own ride or hike in this expanding area.
